We completed an extensive change to the ground floor of our house in North London. This created a modern open plan living and kitchen area looking out to a patio and garden. The resulting interior needed to be complemented by way of layout, furniture, furnishings, curtains, paintings and the like. We asked Lorraine to help us accomplish this so that we could blend several themes and use of the areas. It was a delight to engage with her as we embarked on this. She listened to what we needed, our likes and dislikes and, in several cases, managed to steer us to ideas that we would not have conceived on our own. She is masterful at stepping back, creating a big picture - of function, colour, look and feel - and then coming up with the detailed level of the what, where, in what direction, how and in what fabric, picture, colour, etc. The result has been a remarkable outcome that is pleasing, functional and superbly aesthetic. We are grateful to have had the benefit of her creative and practical instincts
